OUR STORY

        After spending a year in baking school, Marie started baking for friends, family and colleagues. She catered more on making Filipino breads and pastries which she normally gives as a gift to her loved ones. Visiting a family friend who encouraged her to put up a small bakery in Singapore, she was lured to the idea of naming it after her own name. She spent a month of reformulating her recipes and doing taste test whenever possible, making sure she is ready to be known publicly. Weeks later, orders came pouring in and the demand for her breads went over and above her expectations.

        December 2010, Pan de Marie was established catering more on the traditional Filipino breads like Pandesal, Spanish Bread, Cheese Bread and Pan de Coco. Delivery from point to point island-wide, she was able to raise her much needed capital to finally have her own shop in Orchard and acquire those needed equipment to run the business. She relentlessly stood by her passion for baking that even her normal day job didn’t hinder her from grasping on how to become better in her own little aspect and aim for her hopes and ambition for the bakery.

        Pan de Marie continues to re-invent the traditional recipes on-hand and made its way to be known for having quality delicious breads, cakes and pastries.

     Pan de Marie envisions having more branches island-wide in Singapore and be able to open its doors for franchising in Philippines soon.

        Truly it is…Pan de Marie…the bread of life!
